The Summer Games are the largest annual competition for Special Olympics athletes in Virginia. The softball competition will feature 250 athletes. The games will also include other sports like swimming, track and field, and tennis. The opening ceremony will take place at the University of Richmond’s Robins Stadium on Friday, June 6 at 7 pm.
