Monica is an award-winning leader\, holds degrees from George Mason University and Strayer University\, and serves on several regional nonprofit and educational boards. \nCara Holdsclaw\, Ph.D.\, is a senior athletics executive currently serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations at Princeton University\, where she leads marketing\, brand management\, communications\, ticketing\, and multimedia strategy. She previously held senior leadership roles at Columbia University Athletics and served as Chief Operating Officer of IBE Inc.\, overseeing operations\, partnerships\, and nationally recognized sporting events. Holdsclaw is widely recognized for her leadership in revenue generation\, diversity\, equity and inclusion\, and NIL strategy\, earning national honors including the 2024 Charles A. Whitcomb Service Award. Her career spans collegiate and professional sports\, including roles with the LA Clippers and Indiana Fever\, and she holds a Ph.D. in Sport Management from Indiana University. \nMelissa Chase is a longtime broadcast professional whose energy and positivity have connected with TV and radio audiences for more than 20 years. She currently hosts ABC8’s lifestyle show Showcase and previously served as Vice President of Programming for Audacy Houston\, while also working as an on-air personality for Mix 96.5. Her career includes award-winning radio and television hosting\, as well as appearances across major national networks and digital campaigns. A Richmond native and Kent State University graduate\, Melissa is also deeply committed to community service\, actively volunteering with several local and national nonprofits while balancing family life and a passion for music\, creativity\, and youth sports. \nSherma S. Francis\, MS\, PA-C\, is a physician assistant with OrthoVirginia who brings a strong background in health\, fitness\, and patient care to her work helping individuals return to active lifestyles. A native of Trinidad and Tobago who now calls Richmond home\, she transitioned from owning a fitness business into clinical practice\, where she assists in orthopedic surgeries and supports patient recovery. Sherma holds a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
